Engineering Design Approved by State Ministry of Construction, Nanchang Engineering & Research Institute of Nonferrous Metals has been issued 16 Class-A and 18 Class-B engineering qualifications, covering such business scope: The engineering design and consultation, architectural decoration and project contracting in such aspects as metallurgical engineering, chemical engineering, metal processing, thermal power engineering, mining, gold engineering, hydrometallurgy, tailings project, civil engineering, municipal engineering, waste disposal, sewage treatment works, environmental impact assessment work, roads and bridges, water supply and drainage engineering, geotechnical investigation and surveying, geotechnical engineering, construction cost, engineering assessment of the economy, electricity, telecommunications and electronics, automation engineering and equipment manufacture, etc.. Since its establishment, this institute has conducted nearly 3000 design and consultation projects one after another in such fields as metallurgical, chemical, mining, municipal, civil and environmental engineering. It has received 136 awards of national, provincial and ministerial level excellence engineering design and 101 awards for scientific and technological progress, of which, there is a first prize of national scientific and technological progress and 2 second prizes.
